It’s that funny time of the year when the seasons are beginning to change and the difference between the Northern and Southern hemispheres just feels a little more vivid….. down here in the Cape we are looking forward to cooler weather and you gals in Europe and the USA are looking forward to some sunshine, cherry blossoms and tulips!!!

With Easter around the corner I am reminded of my years in Michigan and how unfamiliar I was with Easter decorations. And the latest issue of Sweet Paul is plump with the most amazing inspiration for decorating, baking and cooking for Easter and Spring. It really is a work of art in itself – don’t you just love a magazine that is both beautiful AND useful, never mind just being an inspiring feast for the eyes. I do – and I love this issue. For some reason these pages of “Feeling BLUE” stood out for me – maybe because I’ve been feeling a bit blue and blah lately, or maybe it’s the blue larkspur that caught my eye….. either way, enjoy!!

Maybe it’s time to start thinking about some easter baking in my house….
