Hello everyone! Welcome to a new week!! We had a lovely weekend and I hope you did too.
So – a quote to start the week! When I was growing up, and especially when I was at Varsity, my dad would always give me this advice when I was having a hard time….. “Chin up!”. So when I heard this recently it really resonated, and the “buttercup” just put a smile on my face. I decided this HAD to be yellow (what is it with me and yellow and orange at the moment – not my typical colours at all but so “WOW”!!), and I’ve used a few of my new photoshop skills (thanks to Jo at Your Darling Blog).

Oh joy – it’s cooler today!! Such a relief and I am very grateful.
Yesterday afternoon my hubby was off work, and we went for a lovely drive along the coast. The ocean was stunning and the temperatures were a bit cooler. I looked for whales but none…. It was a good way to perk up our spirits!!
I was having a quick meander on pinterest this morning and saw this – and the message resonated with me. So, feeling the inspiration returning and wanting to continue the colours that I have been loving this week, I created this….

Hello Everyone!! Today I am playing a bit with the pantone 2012 colours, incorporating them into my quote for the week.
Some inspiration for this second week of the year!! I aspire to the motto “Make it Beautiful” in my work, and one of my aims is to bring joy to people who buy or receive my stationery – so this quote really resonates with me. Especially now when I am starting to work on some new product lines. I hope it speaks to you too!!
