Hello Friends. I first discovered Ferm Living in October 2008. South African House and Leisure magazine featured an article on their home in Denmark and I was particularly struck by the image of Trine’s home office, and the beautiful wallpaper designs arranged on her wall. Yes – even then I loved looking at beautiful, organised, creative workspaces. I tore that page out and filed it away in my inspiration file …. and have found it again to show you!!
I was so excited to see Holly’s post about Ferm Living on Decor8 a few days ago, featuring their upcoming Spring / Summer 2012 collection. I was particularly struck by their “spear” and “triangle” ranges. Such simple design, and yet made complicated (from my design perspective) by very clever use and arrangement of colour. I absolutely looove the soft greens, greys, and pinks – these are the colour hues I love to use at Paperpeony.

As the year begins and I think of new ranges and ideas for the coming seasons, this idea of using geometrics in soft hues is definately one that I will think of.
Have you seen anything particularly inspiring lately?
