Loving “twine” Contemporary South African Fabric

This last Friday, while standing at the market selling my stationery, I could not take my eyes off the beautiful fabric, bags, picnic mats and table linen on the table opposite mine. Talk about drooling……. Once things quietened down I met the lovely Cara of TWINE, and succumbed to buying the bag that had been calling my name all morning!!

We got chatting (of course) and I learned that TWINE is based here in Stellenbosch (they also have an office in Cape Town). I have seen these lovely products before in Melissa’s, and have been impressed by their “organic” origins. The fabric is a perfect blend of  55% hemp and 45% certified organic cotton, and the various designs and colours are beautiful!!

I always seem to be drawn to what I call “celadon” – that lovely soft green/blue/grey (my current favourite colour), but they also have some really vibrant new designs too! So lovely.

I really love to discover and support someone who has had a wonderful idea, and the courage to put their idea out there into the world!! And these gals have done it so well!!

Thanks for popping by to spend some time with me!!

Twine is totally fabulous…no home is complete without a Twine item…now the hardship is managing to choose what or trying to control how much you buy! Infact Twine is so awesome you should NEVER restrict yourself…Just buy it all…go on…x

I am so happy that you bought yourself something! When a bag calls you name what else can you do? Their products are so divine!
