Hello friends and welcome to another week!! We had a very busy weekend with my hubby’s brother and family visiting for an interschools sports weekend. It happens every 2 years and it’s wonderful to get everyone together. The cousins are similar ages, so lots of teenagers in the house for the weekend!! Tomorrow we welcome a distant cousin from Michigan for a visit, so I’ll be seeing the sights of Cape Town and the Winelands and will share them with you all!! (Not sure how much work is going to get done …..!!)
Today I want to introduce you to Ishtar Olivera, a Spanish freelance illustrator and lover of handmade goods. I absolutely love visiting her blog for visual inspiration – such lovely paper, twine, washi tape and handmade stamps!! Ishtar also teaches creative workshops in Spain, which I wish I could attend…….

(Ok – honestly, I am lusting after all the beautiful paper. We just don’t find such gorgeous paper here in South Africa. Or washi tape…… I may have to look into bringing tape in too to join the Bakers Twine that I now sell to South African crafty ladies!!)

Ishtar also has an etsy shop (here) where she sells her lovely illustrative work (have a look to see her beautiful “Dandelion Dreams”…..)
If you’re a paper-lover like me, aren’t you now inspired to get out your lovely things and make something??
Have a lovely week – I’ll be sharing some “sightseeing photos”throuh this week”!
